A while back I shared some of my favorite tips for improving your sewing, including regularly cleaning your sewing machine and putting in a fresh needle. It really does make a difference, but when I’m only sewing sporadically it’s hard to remember when I did it last. So I made myself a little reminder, and I’m sharing the printable so you can make one, too.
This is so simple. Just print out the file, cut it down to 5″ x 7″ and pop it in a frame. I keep a whiteboard marker in my sewing machine drawer and just note the date whenever I clean my sewing machine, change the needle, or change the blades in my rotary cutter. And, since I just ordered a Silhouette machine and want to be pro-active, I added that to the tracker, too.
